At STEP2 of our 3 step online booking process, to the right of the car photo of your choice, is a link entitled "IMPORTANT INFORMATION". Click on this link and it will open an additional smaller window, chose PAYMENT where the terms and conditions appertaining to that particular car at your chosen location are displayed. Cash is not accepted. You may wish to try a few different suppliers, as their deposit amounts do vary. RAV4 with Mex rental car for example:-

A deposit amount of MXN 10000.0 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Damage Waiver Liability section.

Insurance Coverage Third party liability protection (TP): Includes 16% Tax; Excess 48,000 MXN; Maximum Coverage 750,000 MXN Your rental does not include Theft or Damage cover. This is a standard requirement when renting a vehicle, otherwise you can be held liable for the full value of the vehicle in case of damage or theft. Please obtain proof from your credit card provider that this cover is included on your card and extends to the country of rental. LDW cover can be purchased directly at the rental desk. Please note that you will be required to leave a deposit at the start of your rental. The Excess Liability is the amount determined by the car rental supplier which you can be held liable for in case of damage/theft of the vehicle. Damage to or loss of tires, windscreens, glass and undercarriage may not be covered by the CDW. Please check with the rental agent at the desk. If you purchase the Excess Reimbursement Insurance from a third party, the main driver will be required to present their credit card at the rental desk in order for the car rental agent to authorize the deposit.
